Dubai Courts, represented by the Experts and Arbitrators Department and in collaboration with the Commercial Court, organised a panel discussion entitled “Practical Accounting Challenges Related to Restructuring Plans, Preventive Composition Proceedings and Voting Mechanisms.”
The session was presented by Judge Dr Hamda Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Head of the Bankruptcy Circuit at the Commercial Court, with the participation of accounting expert Dr Bassam Ajoul. It was attended by 50 judges, experts and Dubai Courts employees.
The session was held in line with the Experts and Arbitrators Department’s ongoing plan to enhance the professional skills of experts registered with Dubai Courts and keep them informed of the latest developments in relevant legislation.
Dr Al Suwaidi highlighted the importance of holding dialogue sessions between judges and experts, noting that such events provide an effective platform for communication between the judiciary and Dubai Courts experts, while promoting the exchange of knowledge and professional expertise.
